Starting at Shek Pak reservoir this hike was about 4.5 hrs and we ended in Tai O.
Buses, ferries and taxis are available there to get back to Tung Chung but on weekends it is busy there and they can be somewhat scarce.
We took the 11A bus from the Tung Chung bus terminal.
Get off the bus after it crosses the bridge at the Shek Pak reservoir.
