can stock up on fluids in Yung Shue Wan upon arrival at the pier.

meet at pier 4 in central at 10:00 am to take the 10:10 fast ferry to Lamma. About 30 min ride.

Join us for a hike to Sunset Peak - likely one of the last time going up there before summer.

Meeting Point: Exit B, Tung Chung MTR.

From there, we’ll take bus 3M, 11, 11A, or 23 to Pak Kung Au, the highest point on Tung Chung Road.

Route: Lantau Trail Section 2 from Pak Kung Au → Sunset Peak → Lantau Mountain Camp → Yi Tung Shan → Luk Tei Tong Watchtower → finish at Mui Wo.

Highlights: Stunning views from Sunset Peak (869m), Hong Kong’s third-highest mountain, overlooking beaches and ocean.

Return: Ferry from Mui Wo to Central (last at 11:30pm), bus 3M back to Tung Chung, or ferry to Discovery Bay (check schedule).

Essentials:

1. Bring plenty of water and snacks (no refill points).
2. Wear sturdy hiking shoes.
3. Expect wind, sun, and steep rocky steps—apply sunscreen and dress appropriately.
4. No toilets along the trail—go before starting.

Exit B Tin hau MTR meeting point

An easy 2-3 hrs hike to end up at shek O beach. From there taxis and buses are available to get you back where you need to go.

A simple Hike starting at the Olympic Trail close to Tung Chung, heading across the hills over to Mui Wo.

This hike takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes, the path is suitable for any age (not for strollers).

A nice Saturday Morning hike to burn some calories with a steep elevation gain of 550 meter. Enjoying the fresh breeze and amazing 360 view of Hong Kong. Requires good shoes and plenty of fluids as there are no stops to buy or refill water. Suncream is a must as there isn’t much shading on this trail.

The HK Hikers club is under way from Central pier 4 Sok Kwu Wan around the south part of the island and will end up in Yung Shue Wan and take the ferry back to central.
