A fantastic day for the Hong Kong hikers club. A force of 30 strong took on the challenge of climbing Lantau highest peak. Lantau peak.

With beautiful weather and somewhat hot temperatures, we started from Pak Tung Au, all the hikers made it by bus from Tung Chung.

With a new member joining us both new to Hong Kong and never having hiked before, she did a great job with the support of the best hiking group in Hong Kong, she finished one of the hardest hikes in Lantau. it was a challenge to all members as the trek up is always a tough go. Great job all!!!!

it took approximately 1:45 hrs to reach the summit. Some clouds obscured the otherwise stunning view, everyone took lots of pictures and took a well deserved rest before descending down to Ngong Ping.

A final relaxing gondola ride back down to Tung Chung was a perfect way to end a fantastic day
