Lamma Island hike

This was a great hike round another section of Lamma island. The southern part.

We started from central ferry pier 4 Sok Kwu Wan and took the ferry. About 30 min ferry ride. $27 HKD /person for the ferry.

Arriving in Sok Kwu Wan most of the trail is coastal and easy to moderate. The heat was 34C and sunny so it did make the hike more dema, being as frequent stops and lots of fluids required. Pocari sweat or Gatorade or the likes to replenish electrolytes lost by lots of sweating. Don’t use distilled water….ever.

There is a rest stop along the way at Shek Pai Wan.

We completed the loop and had lunch back in Sok Kwu Wan and ate some of the best seafood.

After lunch we walked to Lo So Shing beach for a much needed swim to cool off. All the facilities there, changing rooms, showers, drinking water and not many people. The water was fantastic and clean.

Showered off and then continued on to Yung Shue Wan. About another 1.5 hrs.

Great time had by all and it was a hot one!
